Community Engagement

Community engagement is a multifaceted concept that lies at the heart of Cemex for meaningful collective action. We strive to build collaborative partnerships with community leaders, groups, organizations, and our employees, who come together to address community issues, share resources, and build lasting relationships. A key element of our strategy is to improve quality of life and the wellbeing of society. We believe that true community engagement goes beyond traditional approaches.

  • Art of Life Foundation
  • Associated Builders & Contractors of Nor Cal – serving on the Board, participating in and sponsoring local events annually
  • Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation – participating in and sponsoring local events annually
  • Fresno Chamber of Commerce – participating in and sponsoring local events annually
  • Marines – support their annual Toys for Tots program
  • BizFed Central Valley – participating in and sponsoring local events
  • Fresno Rescue Mission
  • Sheriff Memorial Foundation
  • Kiwanis East Fresno
  • Operation Homefront – over 300 backpacks filled with supplies for military kids
  • Poverello House
  • San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust
  • The Light House Women’s Recovery Center – donated all the concrete needed to rebuild the center after it burned down
  • Granville House of Hope – donate concrete annually
  • During flood events, Cemex provides for free sandbags to neighbors
  • Holiday parade
